Skip to contentLittle Windmill Clothing Co was thought up by myself, Katie. A mum of three adorable little boys, one born November 2016, March 2018 and just December 2020.
We are a family that live on a beef cattle station located in the Upper Hunter Valley, south east of Murrurundi, NSW and throughout the year, as a family, we have a love of campdrafting, a spot of fishing and having fun
with our 3 boys.
Before I became a mum, I was very lucky to have been surrounded by so many beautiful babies and children that were my nieces and nephews by blood or great friendships. I always found shopping for little peoples clothing fun, but quickly came across the realisation that the ranges were all the very much the same style in big retail stores or either very expensive in pretty little shops. There was no in between.
After having my first little boy and seeing all the beautiful clothes available to purchase, I found that none suited our country life style. Being mindful he would grow like a weed but still wanting to have fun with the clothing, I decided there must be more out there.
I wanted to create a brand that the little loves in your life could live in, play in and pass on down to another little person. Clothing that you can look back on and be reminded of beautiful memories. Clothes that give a sense of pride and occasion. It might be as simple as to bring feelings of courage and hope that one shirt might hold when your little one wears it, to their first pony club day or big competition.
A range of unique, adorable, affordable clothing for everyone wanting something a little different.
Being a lover of the countryside and my natural environment, I am passionate about leading a sustainable lifestyle for myself and my family. This passion is also reflected in my brand where I use 100% organic cotton where possible and my packaging and inserts for my hampers are made from recycled boxes. It is also super important that my pieces for Little Windmill The Label are made consciously and this is why I partner with family run businesses in Vietnam and India for my exclusively designed patterns and final garment production.
