Our Origin: A Mum’s Workaround
Built out of necessity, not a corporate office.
Little Windmill Clothing Co started as a simple workaround. Finding classic country and western basics for kids (the everyday polos and button-ups) meant settling for thin fabrics or tired, tacky prints. As a rural mum, I couldn't find what I wanted for my own kids to match our lifestyle, so I got to work designing it myself. What began online as a mum solving a problem is now a proudly Australian, family-owned brand grounded in two physical stores in Scone and Tamworth, NSW.
Reclaiming the "Hand-Me-Down"

For us, it’s much simple: clothing should be grown out of, not worn out.
Having four kids, I never intended to keep repurchasing the same items over and over as they wore through them. Growing up, clothing carried the timeline of a childhood, it was worn, repaired, and passed down to the next kid in line. We’re proud about bringing that tradition back with "old school" durability and timeless designs that still look like new after countless washes.
